School Personal Finance Awarness Campain

On Tuesday, 10th of November 2009 we run the School Personal Finance Awareness Campaign as we welcomed 2 groups of students from 2 different schools, 27 students from Sukaina Bint Al Hussain Government School and 18 students from New World Private School. During that day, we decorated our class in a way that gives the school students an idea that they are in a Financial Services. At 10:00 am we assured Sukina Bint Al Hussain School students and then the New World School to our class when they reached our corridor and let them sit comfortably. First, we introduced the campaign to the students and its objectives. Then we started the actual presentation and involved the students to participate in it. Finally, after the presentation we asked them a question as an activity to make sure that they understood the campaign and we distributed giveaways to them to keep a print of the campaign on the students’ minds whenever they use their giveaways (Flash memory).
This campaign was an essential campaign that we run as we live in a spending based culture community who does not think about their future, so it was a great opportunity for us as a group to be able to do such a small thing that will have a great return to our society and to help the new generation build up themselves from young ages to manage their personal finance which will let them live in a stable financial environment.

Dubai Airshow 2009

People from different nationalities and ages attended Dubai Airshow 2009 from companies to interested people all of them were at this show. This year I attended the airshow with my teacher and colleagues from Dubai Women's College.

As soon as we arrived to the airshow area couple of ladies from EADS organization welcomed as and guide us to the workshop room where we enjoyed their workshop and get benefited from them and how they are handling their company from the business view.

After we finished the workshop we had a tour in the Central Hall ;then we went to Emirates Hall where we visited the Emirates Airline booth and I bought a notepad from them. After having a tour in the halls we enjoyed walking on the fresh air and taking pictures with airplanes background there were many attracting airplanes that we saw them for the first time.the Airshow started at 2 pm and this was the best part of our trip where we was attracted to what the pilots are showing.

The Airshow is one of the great shows that I visited through out my life and I really enjoyed the time that I spent with my friends.I advice all the people who could visit it next year to go and have a look at what Dubai can handle.

Emirates Islamic Bank Campain

Starting from the 8th of November we ran the Emirates Islamic Bank Campaign until the 12th of November. We started preparing for the campaign three weeks earlier. On the first day of the campaign we distributed the poster around the college and sat up the booth as well as the decoration. Moreover, we started to talk to DWC students and staff about our campaign and distributed few number giveaways. On the second day, we distributed the treasure hunt flags around the college and this was a good way to attract many visitors to our booth as we talked with them about the products and services available at EIB, then we gave them their gift which was a USB card and they were satisfied about the idea and the way of delivering the information. On the third, we had the school awareness campaign and so we had a shorter time to run our EIB campaign as we did it after the presentation; but we managed to talk to few people. On the fourth day, we distributed the flags again and we also were surprised because the students and the staff found all the flags and that means that the treasure hunt idea was successful; In addition, at that day we stayed longer time as we didn’t study in the last two classes so we went to our booth directly and continued our campaign and to cover the time that we missed on the previous day. On the last day, we kept our best effort in running the campaign, and at that day many teachers came to ask about the products and they were interested to have the skywards credit card.
Running such campaign was a great experience where we gained a lot of knowledge in customer service and about EIB. There were many things that made our campaign successful as we found that the location that we chose was the right place to run the campaign where many people passed by our booth and stopped to ask questions and they were also interested in the EIB products and services. Secondly, the treasure hunt competition was a reason for attracting many people to our booth. Last but not least, it was a great opportunity for us to run this campaign as we contributed in marketing for one of the local financial institutions in Dubai and it was a fun experience.

8 Secrets of success

I relay like this Video and it worthwhile that I watched it. Analyst Richard St. John spent more than 7years and 500 interviews researching the lessons of success. The eight lessons are really good.First passion like do your work because you love and not for money.Second, keep working this because nothing comes easily. Third, being good at what you are doing and lead it to success and practice what ever you are doing and this how you will become expert.Fourth, focus on one thing till you will success it. Fifth, push yourself and be confident to reach to and don't be shy.Sixth, serve others something value .Seventh , bring up new ideas and creations.Last but not least, Persist failure and continue what your are doing without stopping.

I believe that success has different ways to reach to it; but I also agree with the analyst and I who wants to success will reach to it no matter what happens.
